Who we are

UploadProof (“the app”) is a Shopify application operated by Beneficial Exchange Inc that lets customers attach files to their orders and gives merchants a delivery-proof log for every file. Contact: agentpagoda@gmail.com.

What we collect, and why

• Customer-uploaded files (for example photos or design artwork) submitted through the upload widget on a store's product page, stored solely so the merchant can produce the ordered item.
• Upload records: file name, size, type, upload time, the order it belongs to, and when the merchant downloaded it. Kept so merchants can prove a file arrived.
• Store information: the store domain and the data Shopify provides an installed app, used to operate the app's features.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or share files or personal data with third parties.
• We do not look at, analyze, or reuse uploaded files.
• We do not track shoppers across sites.
• We never modify prices, checkout, or order contents.

Processors

Files are stored on Cloudflare R2 (cloudflare.com). The application runs on Fly.io (fly.io) infrastructure.

Retention and deletion

• Uploaded files are automatically deleted 90 days after upload, enforced by a storage-level expiry rule.
• When a customer requests deletion through their store, we delete their files and records (Shopify GDPR webhooks, honored automatically).
• When a store uninstalls the app, all of its data is deleted after Shopify's 48-hour grace period.

Your rights

Shoppers should direct data requests to the store they purchased from; stores can contact us at the address above and we will honor deletion and access requests promptly.
